We are pleased to announce that we, SAKURA Tempesta have applied for and won the Encouragement Award in the “4th Rikajo Nurturing Award” sponsored by the NISSAN GLOBAL FOUNDATION, which was established to nurture girls who love science (Rikajo) to become the future leaders of science and technology.
The theme of our team’s presentation was “Reducing the Education Gap Faced by Women,” and we presented about our activities at the robotics workshop for girls of junior and senior high school students, which is held every year in collaboration with Bosch Corporation (last year’s workshop was canceled due to the COVID-19). This project is part of the Science and Engineering Challenge, a program run by the Gender Equality Bureau Cabinet Office to promote the activities of women. Thank you, Bosch Corporation!
